2021 – Present

Vice President, ArtScience Museum and Attractions

Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

I have been Director of the ArtScience Museum in Singapore since 2014. Since 2022, I have also taken on an expanded role at Marina Bay Sands as Vice President of Attractions, alongside my leadership of the museum. I lead the artistic and executive direction of the museum, setting its curatorial vision and overseeing its day-to-day operations. I also lead Marina Bay Sands' Attractions portfolio, which includes the SkyPark Observation Deck, Digital Light Canvas by teamLab, and the Sampan canal boat rides.

2014 – 2021

Executive Director, ArtScience Museum

Marina Bay Sands, Singapore

As Executive Director, I was responsible for the artistic and strategic direction of ArtScience Museum — developing its identity as a place where art and science are in genuine dialogue. I oversaw all exhibitions and public programmes, built partnerships with major cultural institutions around the world, and initiated the museum's permanent collection of interactive works with teamLab, Future World: Where Art Meets Science.

2010 – 2014

Director, Lighthouse

Brighton, UK

At Lighthouse, I was Director, leading the artistic and executive direction of the organisation and shaping a programme of exhibitions, film, and events across Brighton and in collaboration with national and international partners. I presented major solo projects by artists including The Otolith Group, Trevor Paglen, James Bridle, and Mariele Neudecker, while supporting film commissions recognised by BAFTA Awards and the Academy Awards. I led fundraising, strategic planning, governance, and partnerships, and built a strong organisational team. I also positioned Lighthouse as a key connector within Brighton's cultural ecology, co-founding Brighton Digital Festival and developing collaborations with universities, festivals, and scientific institutions.

2009 – 2010

Curator, transmediale

Berlin, Germany

At transmediale I was Curator of transmediale.10: Futurity Now, one of Europe's most significant annual festivals of art and digital culture. I directed the exhibition Future Obscura, a performance programme of 15 concerts featuring artists from across Europe and the US, and an international conference featuring over 40 speakers and scholars. I was responsible for the artistic programme, commissions, artist liaison and event management.

2004 – 2008

Director, AV Festival

Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland & Middlesbrough, UK

At AV Festival, the UK's largest international festival of digital art, I was Director and led its transition from a pilot project into a biennial event of international standing across Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, and Middlesbrough. I established the organisation as an independent charitable company, Audio Visual Arts North East, securing regular funding from Arts Council England in 2008. I held both artistic and executive responsibility, shaping the curatorial vision across exhibitions, performances, and public programmes, while overseeing governance, financial management, fundraising, and strategic planning. I also recruited and led the Board of Trustees and built a team of staff and freelancers to deliver the festival at scale.

2000 – 2003

Curator of Webcasting, Tate

London, UK

At Tate, I was based at Tate Modern and worked across all four Tate museums as Curator of Webcasting. I established Tate's live webcasting and online events programme, building one of the earliest institutional platforms for digital engagement and managing its archive. Alongside this, I curated and produced art and technology events, including performances and public programmes, and co-developed award-winning e-learning projects such as i-Map and Tate Modern's multimedia tour, both recipients of BAFTA Awards in 2002. I recruited and led a production team delivering weekly broadcasts, collaborated with senior leadership on early digital strategy and interpretation initiatives, and managed key partnerships, including the programme's principal sponsor, BT.
